Wholehearted Worship

We’ve discussed several ways to create an atmosphere of worship this week. One of the main things these avenues of worship have is that they require wholehearted worship. Jeremiah 29:13 tells us that we will find God if we seek Him wholeheartedly.

“Wholeheartedly” in the original Hebrew text means “inner man, mind, will, heart, soul, understanding.” In other words, to seek God wholeheartedly means to seek Him with everything we have. Regardless of what form of worship you choose to participate in, whether individual or corporate, whether you feel grateful, or whether it takes everything to worship when you seek God, you will find Him.

I learned long ago that if we make space for God, He will show up. If you desire to be in God’s presence today, make space for Him and seek Him with everything you have. Invite Him to be a part of your life. He’ll be sure to accept the invitation.
