WEEK ONE: KNOW GOD INTIMATELY
Day Two
There are so many distractions coming at us today. Pressures from home, work, and social life can all press in on us. Paul was not exempt from these, but his perspective is to, above all, press in to Christ (Phil. 3:12). We must ensure that no other task, responsibility, or desire takes supremacy over Christ in our lives. God does not and will not share His throne! Nothing else in our lives should eclipse our love and focus on God.
Take a moment today and list out your priorities in life. What takes the most of your attention, time, and energy? Has anything crept in that needs reevaluation? Ask God for the discernment and grace to realign your life and refocus your priorities so that God is truly first in your life.
