Day 85 • Summary • Philemon – James 2
In the last of his epistles, Paul writes to Philemon and encourages him to accept his runaway slave, Onesimus, back as a fellow believer in Christ. The unknown author of Hebrews exhorts Jewish believers to press on in their faith and not fall back into old religious practices. Like the Old Testament book of Proverbs, James offers practical advice to believers for living out their faith, which their works will prove.
