The Happy Days and the Ones That Aren'tنموونە

Being a human can be tough. In a world built on fleeting rushes of dopamine from clickbait or shallow entertainment, it can be easy to amuse ourselves with things of little substance. But as Christ's followers, we are called to a life of deep, abundant joy. The way of life with God is joy.
Instead of chasing the next high to bring us temporary happiness, what if we leaned into the idea that God’s presence is where we find true happiness? After all, that’s the gift! God, the Creator of the universe, wants to hang out with us. How cool is that? When we open ourselves up to finding more time to do just that, we’ll find that real joy is much easier.
There are no specific protocols or stipulations for being present with God; we just have to show up! So this week, do that. Find a way to show up and spend time with God, and watch how joy grows in your life as you do.
