The Happy Days and the Ones That Aren'tنموونە

Emotions. That can be a complicated word for some of us, right? We may have heard it used before as emotional or emotionless, but it is so much more than that. Emotions were designed to be experienced, just like the seasons. When we feel an emotion like sadness or anger, we might cry. Or when an event happens in our life, like arguing with a friend, we might not know what is truly leading to our anger, though we know it’s there. When we lose a loved one, we may experience grief, anger, sadness, and a mix of all of those emotions. And what God is telling us through Scripture is that this is exactly what happens in seasons of emotion. So when it’s your turn to cry, cry. And when it’s your turn to laugh, laugh.
But if you’re unsure what emotion you’re feeling today, take it to God. Ask God to help you identify your emotions and live in the season you’re meant to be in.
