This Is Not Your Home: A 3-Day Devotional on 2 Peter 3نموونە

It’s exciting to think about the day when we’ll be in Heaven with Jesus. There won’t be death, sickness, pain, sadness, sin, or any other negative thing there. But we can’t let our guard down as we wait for that day.
Peter encouraged his readers to hold fast to the truth—God’s Word. We, too, must hold fast to God’s Word because it’s our main weapon against the lies of the devil (and the lies of our culture). During our time left in this world, let’s focus on growing in Christ.
Prayer: Dear God, please protect me from the lies of the devil and the lies of false teachers. I don’t want to lose sight of Who You are or what You have done for me. Help me to remain faithful to Your Word in the days I have left on Earth before I come home to be with You.
We hope this Plan encouraged you.

On the worst days of her eating disorder recovery, Grace found hope in knowing that she wouldn’t struggle with her recovery forever. Covered by the blood of Christ, she knew that Heaven was her eternal home—and that she wouldn’t have a single struggle there. As you read 2 Peter 3, take heart in remembering that truth.
