Roundaboutنموونە

I will never forget my first day at a Christian school. It was my sophomore year, and I was sitting in chemistry class. Before the class officially began, someone asked, “So, what are your plans for after you graduate?” That was the first time I had ever heard this question. After the other students answered, they looked at me to see what I would say, but I just shrugged and remained silent. While others planned on pursuing careers in church ministry, I wanted to become an actor. And that made me wonder: Was it wrong that I wanted to do something outside of church for my career? Every time I wrestle with that question, God wonderfully reminds me that God made me and gave me specific skills and passions for a reason. I know God has a plan for my life and will use me for good, even if it doesn’t look the way it does for others.
Take a moment to think about your future. How does it make you feel? Excited, nervous, confused? Take a breath, pray, and remember that whatever path God puts you on, God will use it for good.
