Have you ever played the “if only” game? My guess is you have without realizing it. You know, the moments you say things like, “I could go to college if only I was smarter”, “I would have more friends if only I could be funnier”, and “God would use me for something great if only I could stop this addiction." This “game” can lead to a dangerous cycle, but God has something better for you.
When we place our faith in Jesus, we become enough because God says we’re enough. Does following Jesus make us funnier or smarter? I wish! However, following Jesus does make us care and love people like never before. We can place our complete trust in God and walk in the freedom that can only be found in Jesus.
Today, ask God to help you walk in true freedom.
