Journaling Through Lentنموونە

Repentance from Fear
Fear is an emotion that can take over our entire being. It’s something that obstructs us from having faith in God and often makes us act in irrational and unusual ways.
I have many fears, and I worry a lot about things. Fear and worry have held me back from experiencing God’s goodness and faithfulness in many areas of my life. I constantly need to bring my heart before God and ask Him to rid me of fear and help me trust Him more boldly.
I urge you to do the same today. As a part of this season of repentance, ask the Holy Spirit to deal with your fears. Take time to talk to Him about the things that make you anxious and worried. He listens and cares and will give you His Shalom – His peace that passes all understanding. Choose to trust in God's sovereignty. Meditate on His promises to strengthen, help, and uphold you in all circumstances.
Journaling Prompt:
Create a visual representation of God's strength amid fear. Use symbols and colors that convey the peace found in trusting Him.
