Stuck in a Habit
Do you have some behaviors and habits that feel like never-ending cycles? Maybe something you do to yourself or to others that continues to discourage you, but you don't seem to be able to change?
Well, I want to encourage you. We all have them.
Even the greatest writer of the New Testament, the apostle Paul. He wrote these words in the book of Romans. He said,
I do not understand what I do. The thing I want to do, I do not do, but the thing I don't want to do, that is what I do.
Sound familiar? I want to encourage you. The worst way forward is to pull away from God, thinking that He's disappointed with you. Proverbs 15 tells us God loves those who pursue righteousness. He's leaning toward you today to offer grace.
