In verse 8 it says ‘Think about these things’

In the simplicity of this verse is the profound. And that is that it’s not just our actions matter, but our thoughts too. What we surround ourselves with has a huge impact on our thoughts and imagination. As we walk in this we must use caution in the things that we watch, the things we listen to, and the people that we surround ourselves with.

God cares about the inmost part of who we are.

So as we grow in Christ we must Discipline our mind as it is the gateway to our soul.

We honor God with our imagination. So we must take care to sanctify it.
