14 Prayers for a Widow's Journeyنموونە

...he will make straight your paths...
Lord, everywhere I look, there are directions pointing the way. Follow the dots. Cook for fifteen minutes. Take two tablets. Turn left.
Sadly, there’s no Google Maps or Waze for navigating my new and unknown paths. There’s no TripTik with a convenient red line showing me the way. There’s not even tiny print on a folded piece of paper in a hard-to-open bottle.
But there is the Word. There’s prayer. There’s You, Lord, and You want me to follow You even more than I want to follow You. Give me understanding, Lord. Show me Your path.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
