He will not forget you.

If you have children, you know that when your first child is born, it turns your life upside down. Your world gets smaller for a while, and it all becomes about caring for that tiny, precious human. They need to be fed every few hours, day and night. You have to change their diapers, bathe them, and make sure they have a safe place to sleep. Caring for a newborn baby is wonderful…and it’s all-consuming!

The Bible says God loves us like a mother loves her baby—and even beyond that! It says in Isaiah 49,

“Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no compassion for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.”

Know this today: you are on God’s mind constantly! He will never forget you. His compassion extends to every area of your life. Will you let Him take care of you?
