Jesus Is Greater Than Allنموونە

Jesus redeems us from our sins
“After making purification for sins...” (Hebrews 1:3)
We have already read about Jesus in His role as the ultimate prophet, revealing God the Father to us humans, and about Jesus as the creator and sustainer of the universe. Now we read about Jesus as the ultimate priest. He accomplished what no human priest was able to: He provided purification for sins. He did so by taking human sin upon Himself and bearing its punishment to the full. He paid the price for all of our missteps, “not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of His own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption” (Hebrews 9:12). By doing so, Jesus Christ opened the way for humanity to be reconciled with God and to have a restored relationship with Him. For if we trust in Jesus as our Savior, we are made clean from our sins. They no longer separate us from our Creator.
Only Jesus Christ, being both God and man, was able to make purification for sins. And He did, out of His incredible love for us sinful humans.
Angels rightly exclaim: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:12). Do you echo their song of praise?
