Jesus Is Greater Than Allنموونە

Jesus is the heir of everything
“...whom He [= God the Father] appointed the heir of all things” (Hebrews 1:2).
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Like people often leave their possessions to their children, God the Father made His Son heir of all things. After Jesus had completed His mission on earth, God “crowned Him with glory and honor, putting everything in subjection under His feet” (Hebrews 2:7-8). This is a clear sign that Jesus holds the divine position. He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings!
Hebrews 2 continues, “At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to Him.” Sometimes evil seems to triumph in this world. But that’s only temporary. The Bible offers us a view ‘behind the scenes’ and reveals what the future will look like: “Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet” (1 Corinthians 15:24-25).
Jesus is the heir of everything, but He wants to share His inheritance with those who are, through faith, related to Him. Romans 8:16-17 tells us that all children of God are “heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ”. Isn’t that great?!
Are you a child of God? What does that mean to you?
