You Are Not Aloneنموونە

Devotional: Through the death and resurrection of Christ, we have access to a constant stream of grace when we fall short of His perfection. The only thing we have to do to receive His grace is accept it—and that requires humility. In 1 Peter 5:5-6, we’re not commanded to be humble at certain times or with certain people; we’re commanded to clothe ourselves with humility. And when we choose to live in humility instead of pride, we are promised grace.
Prayer: Dear God, I don’t want to let my pride keep me from experiencing the riches of Your grace. Help me choose humility instead of pride and continually accept Your grace with a grateful heart.
