Talking to Jesusنموونە

Yesterday we talked about how Jesus came to earth at just the right time. God provided Jesus right at the perfect time. So what does that mean? It means that God provided Himself with us. Today's passage talks about a prophecy in the Old Testament being fulfilled in the New Testament because of Jesus. God provides for us and He does so by providing Himself to us. So not only did God provide us a way to be in relationship with Him through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, He provided Himself to us. Since Jesus is God, when He came to earth as a baby, which fulfilled prophecies, we get to experience God with us. The creator of the universe dwelling among us. That is God's provision there. As much as we would love to get all kinds of different things, the most important things we could have is restored relationship with God and God being with us. This is what God has provided for us. Today, let's thank God for providing Himself to us.
