Talking to Jesusنموونە

Peter probably thought he was giving a pretty good answer when he asked Jesus how many times he should forgive someone, but Jesus took forgiveness to a whole different level. Peter was already saying that he should forgive someone more than double the amount as was common in their day, but Jesus says that you should forgive someone seventy times seven times. Now this is not a literal seventy times seven times. Jesus is saying that forgiveness should never stop. We are to be a people who are constantly forgiving people and willing to show forgiveness for our whole life to everyone. As Christians, we are taught that we should always be forgiving and that is because we have been forgiven by God to an extent that we could never reach. God keeps forgiving us so we should keep forgiving others. We have been practicing forgiveness, so today let's continue to forgive whoever we have been practicing forgiving.
