Praying the Armor of God Over Your Familyنموونە

The Power of Prayer
The armor of God is not magic. It is not a box to check off to ensure the safety and well-being of your family. Instead, the armor of God offers something much more useful for you and your loved ones.
When we read about the armor of God in Ephesians, the imagery makes it easy to imagine an actual suit of armor. While we may not wear it physically, the armor of God provides reminders of important things to pray for.
In 1 Peter 5, we are reminded that the devil is real, seeking to cause us harm. As believers, God has given us the protection we need. While life may have trials, we can pray for God’s protection and provision as we stand up to the schemes of the devil in big and small ways every day.
Lord, help me come to you faithfully on behalf of my family. Give me full confidence in You and Your Spirit living within, knowing that you protect us and provide for us always. Amen
