## The indwelling presence of Christ. We are finite creatures. What we can do as humans during our short time on earth is limited. But God is infinite, and there is no end to what He can do. He can use an ordinary life—even the life of someone with a sinful past or even the life of an imperfect person like you—to spread the life-giving Gospel of Christ far and wide! Major Ian Thomas, who spoke with young Luis Palau in the movie clip, was a war hero and professor at Multnomah School of the Bible. He taught Luis about the importance of the indwelling presence of Christ and how we can rely on God, not ourselves, to enact the will of the Lord in our lives. In one of his lectures, Major Thomas emphasized that God chose to speak to Moses by inhabiting a burning bush. It burned so brightly that Moses felt compelled to go see what it was. Yet, it wasn’t the bush that was special. “Any old bush will do,” he preached, “as long as God is in the bush.” Do you believe with all your heart that the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in you? Believe it! Because of this, God can accomplish much more for His kingdom—through Christ in you—than you can imagine.
