Still Small Voice: 7-Day Meditations on the Words of Jesusنموونە

Good Father
God gives the best gifts. He is a good, perfect father and not just an okay one. He has a never-ending abundance of resources to constantly draw from. His very being is love, so everything he gives is a representation of that.
If it doesn’t look like love (and even kind correction does), then it probably isn’t from God. How many things do we attribute to the Father that don’t reflect his character? Sometimes we let thoughts of vengeance, exclusion, or manipulation into our understanding of God. God is not like that at all. Jesus revealed the heart of the Father, and it is just, patient, faithful, and merciful.
Christ Jesus, thank you for setting the record straight when it comes to what God is like. You are what God is like, and you are wonderful. Transform my understanding in the grace of your presence. I want to know you more.
