A HOLY TEMPLE (UNITED WITH OTHER BELIEVERS)

In the Old Testament, the temple was the building where the presence of God dwelt. In the New Testament, God’s people are both individually and corporately His temple.

READ: Ephesians 2:19-21

READ: 1 Corinthians 3:1-17

Paul warns us about how we treat the church because it is the dwelling place of God (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). Are you building up the church or tearing it down?

WRONG THINKING: The church is really not all that important.

RIGHT THINKING: I should work to build up the church! It is the temple of God. I am part of the temple of God!
