Acts: Go & Be Chapters 1-9نموونە

What is this passage saying?
The community of the early church is one that can only be explained through Holy Spirit power. Many people who previously held nothing in common are now united and set on mission. This point in the book of Acts is where we see the shift of waiting on the Lord to doing what He has commanded. We are all called to GO & BE His witnesses to all people and all nations. God is the one who is growing His church here in Acts and He is the one who is growing it today. They broke bread and ate together, they met each other’s needs, and they were continually united in prayer daily.
What is this passage teaching?
Here in Acts we see the early church devoting themselves to God and to each other. They are living out how to Love God, and Love People. They have fallen in love with doing the ordinary things and are seeing God move in extraordinary ways every single day.
How do I respond?
Be united with other believers and ask that Jesus will continue to grow His church.
