Acts: Go & Be Chapters 1-9نموونە

What is this passage saying?
The disciples were skeptical of Saul and didn’t believe him to be a follower, but rather suspected he was trying to kill them from within. The world is full of deceit, so is it is wise to exercise caution. Barnabas stands up for Saul bearing witness to all he had done. Then Saul is persecuted again for preaching the gospel message. The apostles are continuing their miraculous works through the power of The Holy Spirit, even raising Tabitha from the dead. All this is done to further prove the validity of the message of Jesus Christ.
What is this passage teaching?
The gospel changes lives, even brings dead people to life. We see the conversion of Saul and how drastic the change that took place in his life. While the other disciples doubted, Saul continued to proclaim the gospel. Saul let his actions speak for him, and Barnabas saw this and testified for him. God works and we get to see His plan in action. It doesn’t always make sense to us or follow the laws of the world, but when He does, it’s something you can’t miss.
How do I respond?
Let the love and truth of Christ be what your life is centered on.
