Your Kingdom Come
Jesus continues to teach us how to pray in Matthew 6:10, saying, “Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” When we pray this, we’re asking for what we see right now on earth to look like Heaven. Think about what you see in front of you right now on this earth—your family, the people around you, sickness, injustices, brokenness, and anything else that comes to mind. Whatever God highlights to you is an opportunity to pray and intercede for His Kingdom and will to be done in that area. In your daily encounter today, ask for God’s heart and thoughts over you and for what’s in front of you. Seek and find what God wants to do in your life, family, job, city, nation, and the earth! Ask Him for His perfect will to be done in and through you. Partner with Him in prayer and intercession, allowing your prayers to be a bridge between Heaven and earth.
Pray: Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, I pray for your perfect will to be done in my life. God, not my will, but yours! Increase my faith to believe what You have for my life is better than what I want for my own. I want what You want! I take my thoughts captive today and come into alignment with the thoughts that match Yours. May Your will be done in my life and the lives of those around me.
