Finding Joy: The Little Thingsنموونە

Little Thing # 7: Revel in Worship
My favorite place to be is in a place of worship with like-minded Christians, worshiping our Father in Heaven. There are a few things I really enjoy about an in-person worship service: The beautiful sound of worshipers raising their voices together in song, the image resembling praise in Heaven as everyone crowds together surrounding the Throne, and the opportunity to be reminded or learn something new about my faith and the Creator.
As you read through God’s Word, a picture of joy and celebration is painted wherever it mentions praise. Praise to the Lord is not only fulfilling, but it pleases our God tremendously. Our praise and worship is a literal sacrifice made before the Lord that is a pleasing aroma to Him. Increase your joy as you worship Him in song, dance, and praise.
That being said, nothing can replace one-on-one time with God. Today, find a quiet place and invite your Father to a private meeting between the two of you. Share your deepest desires and your thankfulness for His forgiveness and blessings. May you feel His peace in that moment and grow closer to the One who knows you best! Rejoice like King David in the Lord and in His unending love for us! On your quest to be more attentive to the joy received from the Holy Spirit, try to worry less about the setbacks of this world, and focus more on embracing the little things.
We hope this plan encouraged you.
