After reading James 4, reflect on the following questions:

1. Are your passions godly or selfish and worldly (vv. 1-2)? Are your passions destroying you?
2. Are your prayers God-centered or self-centered (v. 3)? Is God granting your requests?
3. Do you need to draw near to God (v. 8)? How will you know when you have?
4. Do you tend to criticize and judge other people? Are you assuming God’s role as judge (vv. 11-12)?
5. What has God told you to do? What is preventing you from obeying immediately (v. 17)?
