After reading James 3, reflect on the following questions:

1. Are you prepared to take on the added responsibility and accountability of a teacher (v. 1)?
2. Everyone stumbles at times (v. 2). How have you stumbled recently?
3. Are you able to control your tongue (vv. 3-12)? How have your words harmed your relationships and the cause of Christ?
4. What is the evidence that you have the wisdom that comes from above (vv. 13-17)?
5. Are you or your church involved in fights and dissension? Are you an agent of peace (vv. 14-18)?
