The War on Wisdom نموونە

Anxiety can wreak havoc in life. It causes multiple issues such as sleeplessness, irritability, headaches and exhaustion. Anxiety is something we’ve all experienced. Anxiety weighs on a person; often you simply can’t seem to shake it off. Throughout the Bible we are given a few pointers in how to come against anxiety in ourselves and those around us.
As believers we are given the tools of prayer, petition and thanksgiving to use in our lives as a response to anxiety, being encouraged that we can in every situation turn to God. This is something we can do for ourselves and those around us. But why stop there when we can go a little further? Why not speak up? Let’s use those tongues and the words spoken for good.
Often an anxious heart can be cheered up by a simple “kind word”: a word that leads to a sense of encouragement. Encouragement may cost us very little, but it goes a long way and can do an immeasurable amount of good for the person who receives it. The words spoken can bring new hope and a boost in confidence. Oftentimes when a kind word is spoken greater clarity and a new perspective is given resulting in others feeling uplifted and cheered up. Let’s be people who speak up and cheer up hearts that are weighed down by anxiety.
