Grieving نموونە

A friend of mine was checking to see how I was doing after I told her the news that my childhood Pastor/ Apostle and two friends passed away over the weekend.
“My heart is heavy and heartbroken, and I am not okay,” I said.
She responded softly, “It’s okay not to be okay.”
At first, I didn’t understand what she meant by that.
Then she said, “Jesus felt the same way you are feeling.”
At that moment, I felt comforted because Jesus wept when he found out that his friend Lazarus had died. Jesus was not okay. He experienced grief the same way we do. Jesus has emotions just like us. Jesus knows and understands how we feel.
My friend, if you are watching/reading this, I want to tell you that it is okay not to be okay. You are not alone.
