Why Go to Church?نموونە

The church is a place to find rest
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)
Daily life can be demanding and stressful. Our mind is easily filled with all kinds of worries, wonderful plans, or pressing deadlines. The assembly of believers is a place to come apart from the world and focus our thoughts on God. Church services, small groups, or other meetings help us to “set our minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth” (Colossians 3:2).
Taking a walk or a warm bath can also help to clear our heads, but having fellowship with our spiritual family does more than that! Jesus says: “Where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them” (Matthew 18:20). God is omnipresent, He is everywhere. But He is especially present when His church gathers.
Jesus invites people to come to Him and find rest for their souls. Going to church is a good way to seek this rest, again and again.
Are you weary and burdened? Go to Jesus and let Him take your burden!
