Observation
- We get hungry all the time. In fact, you may be hungry right now. The problem is, whenever we eat, we become hungry again. The truth is we don’t only hunger for food. We hunger for acceptance and purpose. Jesus calls himself the bread of life. When we realize we are accepted by God (because of Jesus’ sacrifice), our life has purpose and our desire for acceptance is satisfied!
Take a Moment
- The next time you sit down to eat a meal take a moment to thank God for acceptance and purpose. As you fill your stomach with food, be reminded that we need to fill our life with Jesus, the bread of life.
