Reading: Matthew Chapter 23

Devotional: “Better an atheist, than a believer” or “Do as the priest says, not as he does' ' are some of the most saddening things one can say about a Christian believer. In this tough chapter, where Jesus rebukes those who were supposed to represent the best faith models, we notice He does not desire us to behave as some robots fulfilling strict orders or tasks, but He desires people who love Him, let themselves loved by Him and love those around them. Our daily challenge should be that of doing everything out of and with love for God and for people.
