A New Normalنموونە

Day 12
We have shoes for going out, for work and for chilling. We get angry if our delivery doesn’t come by the next day and we call it dieting when we don't eat three meals a day. We, in the western World, are among the richest 10% of the world's population. Our normal is convenience and extreme comfort.
Acts 12 begins with the execution of James and the imprisonment of Peter, both for committing the ‘Crime’ of being a Christian. The number of Christians in the UK is at an all-time-low. Therefore, our new normal is learning to be uncomfortable. To be a Christian today means we will face our own struggles. This may look like our friends becoming toxic towards us, line managers treating us differently etc. But don’t lose heart, the early Church faced worse and God used it all for His glory. And because of their sacrifice, the Church they started grew from 120 people to 2.2 billion today.
