A New Normalنموونە

Day 14
Fear. Our world is racked with it. Fear is the reason why anxiety is so normal today. Fear feeds doubt, apprehension and wants to crush our faith.
In Acts 14, Paul and Barnabas enter a synagogue in Iconium (southern Turkey). They spoke boldly, inspiring faith in some and igniting anger in others. Paul and Barnabas faced many setbacks and trials. In the face of it all, they trusted that the word of God would prove true and that the Gospel would continue to spread. Paul stood in the face of a mob with murderous intent, and saw hope. When his body gave up and he collapsed outside of the city, he knew God wouldn’t give up on him. Trusting God doesn’t make our lives easier, it makes us stronger. Like Paul, fear will try and knock us down but fear doesn’t know who our God is. Our new norm is not fear, but courage. Knowing that with God the worriers can become the warriors.

The "New Normal" 28 day bible plan will take you through the book of Acts, reading 1 Chapter each day. The original New Normal started with a few young people who devoted themselves to the word of God. That movement ended up being the start of the global Church. Imagine what might happen if a few more young people did same, some 2000 years later...
