Love God Greatly - 1 & 2 Peterنموونە

Peter seeks to strengthen the faith of the Jewish Christians by once again sharing evidence of his testimony and experience with Jesus. He lists the fact that he was one of the many eyewitnesses to Jesus’ miracles and the fact that he heard God’s voice proclaim Jesus as His Son. The followers of Christ experienced great persecution, imprisonment, and even death. Peter wanted the Christians to be certain that they would not experience that for a lie. What he experienced with Jesus in the presence of other witnesses was real and worth dying over.
When was the last time you shared your testimony of how you came to the faith? Peter’s changed life and spiritual growth was evidence that Jesus had impacted him. What is your evidence? Anyone who has a true encounter with Jesus will have a changed life. Will you pray and ask God for opportunities to share your testimony?
