The Pathway of Obedience নমুনা

Staying Connected to the Source
Obedience isn’t just about rules; it’s about a relationship. It’s the evidence of submission to the Lordship of Christ. When we obey, we stay structurally connected to Him, the Head, from whom the anointing flows.
Psalm 133 paints this picture beautifully:
“It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard… down to the skirts of his garments.”
The oil, which is the anointing, flows from the head down. In the same way, spiritual power and divine favor flow when we remain rightly positioned under Christ’s authority. You cannot walk in His anointing while trying to lead yourself. There cannot be two captains on one ship. You have to trust the Lordship and leadership of Christ over your life.
Submission doesn’t mean weakness; it means strength under direction. When we yield to the Lord’s leadership, we align ourselves with His flow of life (His Word). That’s when prayers become powerful and assignments fruitful.
Amos 3:3 reminds us, “Can two walk together unless they agree?” Our agreement with Christ is expressed through our obedience. As we follow His instructions, we remain connected, and connection sustains the flow of power.
Bible Reading: Psalm 133:1–2; Amos 3:3; John 15:5–7
Reflection Question: In what ways can you strengthen your connection with Christ through obedience today?
