The Pathway of Obedience নমুনা

The Power of Simple Obedience
When Jesus came to the Jordan River to be baptized by John, John hesitated, feeling unworthy. But Jesus insisted that it had to be done “to fulfill all righteousness” (Matthew 3:13–17). Right after His obedience, the heavens opened, the Spirit descended on Him, and the Father’s voice was heard.
There’s a deep lesson here: the blessings and help we seek are waiting for us on the pathway of obedience. Many have missed divine appointments and delayed breakthroughs because they ignored instructions from God. God’s power often hides in simple steps of obedience—fasting for a few days, praying for someone, attending a meeting, or studying about something.
Maximizing our inheritance is on the foundation of obedience. Sacrifices can never substitute for obedience. Obedience is the acceptable sacrifice, and it is the strongest helper of our faith in God. Obedience is how we exercise faith in God, it is our response of faith to the leading of the Spirit.
“To obey is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22).
When we obey, we partner with God’s wisdom and timing. He doesn’t always explain the “why,” but He always rewards trust. Jesus obeyed and got baptized, and heaven responded. The same principle holds for you today.
