True & Beautiful Things About the Bible--New Testamentনমুনা

The Letter of 2 Corinthians: Jesus meet us where we are
Look closely at this second letter to the Corinthians and you’ll find a very transparent discussion about how hard life can be.
With surprising vulnerability, the apostle Paul described how broken and bruised he felt. Criticism and conflict got so bad, he said, that at times he didn’t want to go on in ministry or in life.
With these tender details in mind, read through 2 Corinthians to find a compassionate Jesus whose grace shines through the cracks of life and casts a new and true light on His ministry to the broken today.
·Jesus comforts us in our suffering –(Read 2 Corinthians 1:3-5)
·Jesus shines light in our darkness—(Read 2 Corinthians 4:6)
·Jesus reconciles us to God—(Read 2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
·Jesus gave up Heaven to be our Savior—(Read 2 Corinthians 8:9)
·Jesus offers us strength in our weakness–(Read 2 Corinthians 12:9)
Jesus loves the broken... and that includes us all. See if you find yourself on this list:
To the victim, Jesus defends.
To the rebel, He holds out mercy.
To the brutalized, Jesus is kindness.
To the questioning, He speaks truth.
To the fearful, Jesus stands beside.
To the lonely, He nods, I’ve been there.
To the sick, Jesus revitalizes.
To the outlier, He welcomes in.
To the forgotten, Jesus remembers in detail.
To the filthy, He washes clean.
To the broken, Jesus empathizes.
To the doubting, He listens.
To the isolated, Jesus joins company.
To the discouraged, He draws near.
To the cynic, Jesus answers.
To the rejected, He restores.
To the anxious, Jesus calms.
To the betrayed, He identifies.
To the betrayer, Jesus forgives.
To the wounded, He sympathizes.
To the wanderer, Jesus points the way.
To the shattered, He rebuilds dreams.
To the lost, Jesus leads home.
To the abandoned, He is home.
To the destitute, Jesus deepens.
To the single again, He completes.
To the tempted, Jesus is ready to help.
To the courageous, He gives purpose.
To the one in trouble, Jesus lead out.
To the exhausted, He is beautiful wholeness.
To the hurried, Jesus patiently waits.
To the over-committed, He builds margin.
To the weak, Jesus fortifies.
To the one in debt, He releases.
To the searching, Jesus is the truth.
To the foolish, He says, turn around.
To the pure in heart, Jesus blesses.
To the one who keeps on going, He rewards.
Whatever you need, Jesus is a present help: a comforter to the lonely and strength to the weak. He is our life.
