Steward Your Storyনমুনা

You Are Called, Not Disqualified
Are you writing a question mark over who God says you are, or what He has called you to do?
I get it. It took me nearly 10 years before I took my first step towards writing the book I knew God was calling me to write. I was wrestling with that old question: Did God really call me?
Many Christian writers wrestle with doubt: Am I good enough? Am I qualified? Does my story matter? Gideon had the same questions, but God called him “mighty warrior” long before he believed it. God doesn’t call the qualified — He qualifies the called. Your worth as a writer is not in your skill but in your identity as His child and messenger.
Reflection Questions:
- Where have I felt “not enough” in my writing journey?
- How does God’s calling give me confidence beyond my ability?
Action Step:
Write down one lie you’ve believed (“I’m not good enough”) and replace it with God’s truth (“I am chosen, equipped, and called”).
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I accept your call to write and share my story. I choose to let go of all the lies that keep me from my calling and purpose. I choose to embrace the truth you speak over me.
Amen.
