Beyond the Battlefieldনমুনা

Those are words that God spoke to Joshua. Moses had also given God’s people similar messages about when they’d be ready to enter the Promised Land: “Be strong and courageous!” There was no reason for them to panic or be filled with fear. Why? God, YHWH, had promised to be with them, and He always keeps His promises. God delivered them from Egypt and Pharaoh and accompanied them through the wilderness. He went ahead of them and prepared the way for them. The Eternal One, YHWH, never failed or abandoned them. They were not on their own—God was with them.
Those promises are true for Jesus-followers, too! God promises that He is always with us. God even promises that He lives inside of His followers through His Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17). We never face anything alone. So there’s nothing for us to be afraid of as we face the future and challenges ahead of us. God will never fail us, leave us, or abandon us, and nothing can separate us from His love for us. God calls us to be strong and courageous because we face nothing without Him. Remember that being strong and courageous doesn’t mean being fearless, but rather having faith that God will be with you every step of the way and give you everything you need. But as God’s children, we can step into the future bravely.
