Go After Jesus: The Adventure of a LIfetime!

DAY 17 OF 21

Day 17: Battle Stories

📖 1 Timothy 6:12; 2 Timothy 4:7

💡 Go After Jesus Principle #17
Every spiritual Soldier has a few battle stories to share. You are not alone because Jesus goes with you.

✍️ Devotional Thought
Paul described the Christian life in battle terms: “Fight the good fight of the faith” and later, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Every Soldier of Jesus has stories of battles faced and victories won by God’s grace.

Some battles are internal — struggles with temptation, doubt, or fear. Others are external — persecution, criticism, or opposition. In each, you learn that you are not alone. Jesus is with you on the frontlines. His Spirit strengthens you, His Word steadies you, and His presence keeps you from giving up.

You may even carry scars from the fight. But those scars become testimonies of God’s faithfulness. They remind you and others that Jesus never abandons His Soldiers.

❓ Reflection Question
What is one “battle story” from your life where Jesus helped you stand strong?

🚀 Today’s Go After Jesus Challenge
Share a short version of your battle story with someone today. Use it to encourage them that Jesus is with them too.

🙏 Prayer
Lord, thank You for walking with me through every battle. Strengthen me to fight the good fight of faith and finish my race well. Amen.
