Matthew's Journey: 'Discover Your Calling' (Part 3)নমুনা

Called by Name
There is something powerful about being called by name. It’s personal, affirming, and makes us feel seen. When Jesus called Matthew, He didn’t just issue a general command—He looked at him and extended an invitation meant specifically for him. He does the same for you, by the way!
In The Chosen (Season 1, Episode 7), we see how this personal calling plays out for Matthew. Matthew wasn’t searching for Jesus, but Jesus was searching for him. He called him out of his comfortable, but empty life into something greater and better, something highly uncomfortable, yet soooo good!
God still calls us by name today. And yes, you too. In Isaiah 43:1, God says, "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine." Yes, my friend, He knows you intimately, by name even—and when He speaks your name, it’s not to burden you with obligations but to invite you into true purpose and a lasting relationship.
Have you ever sensed God calling you? Maybe it was a quiet nudging in your heart or an opportunity that seemed too fitting to be a coincidence. Take a moment to reflect: What might God be speaking to you today—how does He call you by name?
