Matthew's Journey: 'Discover Your Calling' (Part 3)নমুনা

Jesus Calls the Unlikely
When you think about someone being "called by God," who comes to mind? A pastor? A missionary? Someone with an extraordinary story? It’s easy to assume that God only calls the most qualified, but Scripture—and The Chosen—tell a different story.
Matthew was a tax collector, a man rejected by his own people. He had chosen a life that made him wealthy but despised. In The Chosen (Season 1, Episode 7), we see a pivotal moment: Jesus looks at Matthew and says, "Follow me." No explanation, no long discussion—just an invitation. What’s even more surprising is Matthew’s response. He gets up and follows immediately.
Jesus doesn’t call the perfect. He calls the willing. He calls those who feel unworthy, overlooked, or broken. And when He calls, He sees not just who we are but who we can become.
Have you ever felt disqualified from being used by God? Maybe you think your past is too messy, or you don’t have the right skills. But Jesus calls you—not because of what you’ve done, but because of who He is. How is He calling you to follow Him today?
P.S. Are you enjoying this journey with Matthew? Your own character might even resemble his. Care to find out? Take our The Chosen 'Test of Character' and journey for a while with the character you have the most in common with.
