Couples’ Prayer:

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, we thank You for our marriage. We thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You, that through His shed Blood, we have access to freedom.

Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, we have access to Your forgiveness. Through Christ, we are set free from the bondage of the past and the entanglement of sin. Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, we are set free.

Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, addiction has no power, pride has no place, and stubbornness has no authority—in Christ we are set free. Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, we repent of any sin that we’ve committed against You. We turn from our ways and turn to You.

Father, in You, there is victory. Father, through Your Son, Jesus Christ, we are made new and every generational cycle is broken. Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, every generational curse is destroyed. Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, every generational pattern is dismantled. Lord, we are free in You.

Our marriage is strengthened in You. Our marriage is set free in You. Father, You are our True and Living God and we will serve no other. You are Lord over our house. Father, You are Lord over our marriage, and we surrender to You—forever.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Action:

• As a couple, make a conscious effort to take time today to read His Word together. Unity brings peace.
• Decide not to blame each other for past mistakes, sins, failures, and shortcomings. Let the past go and surrender completely to Christ.
• Be intentional and pray for your spouse throughout the day. Build up your prayer life together.
