The Cure for Envyনমুনা

Love Is the Antidote
For me, speaking aloud that I loved the people I was envious of disarmed envy. It was like pulling out the roots envy used to hold onto my heart. Love truly is the antidote. Where envy resents, love celebrates. Where envy competes, love rejoices. Scripture says, “Love does not envy,” because love looks outward, not inward.
When we walk in love, envy loses its power. Instead of secretly resenting someone’s success, we can pray for them, bless them, and even celebrate with them. God’s love reorients our hearts so that we can see others as family, not competition.
Respond to God’s Word:
Say out loud that you love and bless the person you’ve been envious of. Pray for them. Ask God to help you rejoice in their success and genuinely celebrate them.
