You Are Valuable to God

Do you ever feel alone, forgotten, or worthless? Would it help to know that you are in the company of most people? I have found that when I am vulnerable—exhausted, not physically well, or hurt by someone I love—the enemy uses the opportunity to lie to me and reinforce these negative thoughts about myself. It is in those moments you must remind yourself of who you are in Christ Jesus. Don’t allow the enemy to beat you up.

You are part of God’s royal family. He made you; he redeemed you; he calls you his child because of your faith in Jesus. He knows you by name and has given you a beautiful purpose in this life that the enemy cannot steal. God cares deeply about you. So the next time you are gullible to the lies of the enemy and you feel alone, forgotten, and worthless, always remember God’s truth about you. Then straighten your crown and press on like the royalty that you are!

Father, I thank you for the beautiful worth and dignity you’ve given me. You made me in your own image and even sent your Son to die for me. You’ve given me skills and abilities that echo aspects of your own incredible nature. I have a glorious inheritance and a glorious future. Give me the confidence, courage, and grace to live like an honored child of the King of Kings. In Jesus’ name, amen.
