Always Abounding: A 3-Day Devotional on Hope and Faithনমুনা

Devotional Day 1:
God is Hope
Hope is often characterized as the feeling we get when we think about the future. But, if we look around us, many people seem to be losing hope because of the inconsistencies of our world. Today, Christians hoping for a change have become weary as the definition of truth in our society continues to be diluted, and lies and half-truths are accepted.
I have hoped for change, but my expectations for the future have proved burdensome. So, I shifted my focus to the present, putting my hope in God to determine the future. God is still sitting on His throne, and he is hope for those who have stopped believing. Have you ever felt hopeless and helpless? Ever weary of the uncertainty of what lies ahead?
In Romans 5:4, the Apostle Paul tells us that hope is an anchor for the soul. When God is your hope, He will strengthen you in confidence and patience. Focus your energy on Him; you will find peace and see the beauty of putting your hope in Him.
Abounding Truth
Psalm 62:5 reminds us that we should trust and wait on God because He is our hope. Remember, God is still in control. When we hope in God, we are never afraid to face the future because we trust His plans. He is in control and will work all things together for our good.
