The Gospel of Matthewনমুনা

Love That Transforms
I remember hearing someone say, “God loves me just the way I am.” It sounds comforting—and in part, it’s true. God’s love is unconditional and reaches us right where we are. But the full truth is even better: God loves you too much to leave you the way you are. His love isn’t passive—it’s powerful. It transforms.
In Matthew 7, Jesus finishes the Sermon on the Mount by calling us to not just hear His words, but to obey them. He compares those who obey to a wise builder who builds on rock. The storms still come, but the house stands firm. Those who only listen, but don’t live it out, build on sand—easily shaken, quickly ruined.
God’s love invites us into a new way of life, grounded in truth and obedience. It’s not about perfection, but about direction—a heart willing to be shaped, corrected, and built on Jesus.
Respond to God’s Word:
Ask yourself today: “Where am I building on sand instead of the rock?” Let God show you one area to surrender—and choose to obey Him in that. His love will meet you there and grow you from it.
