The Fatherless Journey for Girlsনমুনা

The yells, sounds of marching, and sounds of chariots were drawing nigh. They were getting very nervous and fearful that they were going to be taken captive again and possibly even murdered. Suddenly, Moses lifted his rod toward the Heavens, trusting that God would save them, and the miracle of the Red Sea parting took place. The waters drew back from side to side, providing a pathway to walk free and clear, and as soon as they were all across, the waters came tumbling down, destroying the soldiers who sought destruction upon their lives. (Exodus 14).

God had delivered them from their discouragement, and at the end of this trial, the Bible says, “Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.” Exodus 14:31 (NKJV).

This is just one example of the many times Moses cast burdens upon the Lord for himself and the Israelites during their journey through the wilderness to the Promised Land, and He miraculously delivered them. No matter the circumstances they faced, God sustained them!

Psalm 55:22 (NKJV) tells us to “Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Only God is able to help us in every moment of our lives. By allowing God to deal with your discouragement, you, too, shall be able to look back and see what great things He has done for you. Deal with your discouragement by giving it to God today!

Let's pray... Dear Lord, I give You my burdens. I ask that in this time of discouragement in my life that You would sustain me. I trust You and love You! Amen.
